In 1981 Husqvarna incorporated a letter into the frame number that identified the 'type' frame which helped identify the bike quicker. A 81 frame number would be like CN 1023 or XN 1024 or WN 1025. The 'C' meant close ratio mx type, 'W' meant wide ratio Enduro type with lights, and'X' meant cross country no light but with lightning coils.

I would call a local repair shop and ask them where on the machine you could locate the Model and Serial # and then work from there.ask again on here and do a Google search for sewing machine manuals.If you can find the company, they may be helpful.I got a very, very nice used Viking, minus the manual and the company copied and mailed me free of charge the majority of the pages to the manual.which I truly needed. Also, find a friend who sews and use her brain, that is what I did with several friends.B.

1Locate the serial number for your saw. This is placed in different places for different saws.

Stihl chain saws, for example, have the serial number printed on the crankcase or the motor housing. Homelite chain saws, on the other hand, have the serial number printed on the bottom side of the saw, and Husqvarna saws have the serial number near the oil cap, front handle, starter cover or on the bottom of the machine.

Whatever brand you have, look for a metal plate or an embossed series of numbers somewhere on the engine housing. Also note the model number, if any, printed in larger font on the engine housing.
